About

In today’s fast-paced world, bridging generational gaps has become increasingly rare, yet it's more crucial than ever. Pickleball4APurpose addresses this need by using the vibrant sport of pickleball to foster connections between older adults and young people. By organizing intergenerational pickleball tournaments, we promote physical activity, mental well-being, and community engagement. The sport's ease of learning makes it ideal for bringing together diverse age groups and creating shared, enjoyable experiences.

Our tournaments are designed to be inclusive and engaging, featuring teams of one older adult and one younger person. Pickleball4APurpose tournaments are designed for all skill levels, whether you're a beginner or a seasoned player. We've got you covered. We also focus on facilitating ongoing connections through communication channels and use the funds raised to support essential programs for both seniors and youth. This approach enhances lives and fosters intergenerational bonds, breaking down stereotypes and promoting a more inclusive society.

How To Play

We believe in bonds, no matter your age. We bond through commonalities from generation to generation.

Lilah is a junior at Cooper City high school in Cooper City FL. She was determined to get her grandmother out of her house, active and engaged with others. After spending time with her grandmother and doing fun activities with her, she watched her Bubby return back to her old, active, happy self. Lilah decided she wanted to continue to help more older adults during difficult times in their lives.
